Description: An oasis of personal luxury in the California desert, the 690,000 SF Morongo Casino and Resort property includes 300 unique hotel guest rooms [and 32 luxury suites], and with 3,800 slots and 75 table games, boasts one of the largest casinos in the U.S. TBEA’s hotel tower – the tallest structure in inland California – rises 28-stories above the desert floor and features a remarkable TBE-designed porte cochere that provides a fantastic sense of arrival – and has become a popular location for print and television advertisements.
The resort property contains nine distinctive food and beverage venues, including a popular fine-dining restaurant atop the hotel tower, event and meeting spaces, several ballrooms, and retail space. The resort’s primary guest service is centered on the unique, elevated ‘Pit Bar’, with its own lighted waterfalls and reflecting pools. Other entertainment venues include the live-music ‘Desert Rain’ nightclub [with a popular ‘fire and water’ fountain and water feature] and the multi-level ‘Bella Italiano’ Mediterranean restaurant.
The resort’s Sage Spa includes a full array of luxury services centered on 14 treatment rooms, sauna and steam rooms, Jacuzzi and cold-dip pools. There is also a large outdoor swimming pool with sand beach, and a California-inspired ‘lazy river’ water feature.
