Description: Located in the rolling, wooded hills of northeast Oklahoma, the Indigo Sky Hotel includes a 158,000 SF casino with 1,500 slots and 25 table games, three distinct restaurant/dining venues, and a 600-seat bingo hall. Two adjacent, mid-rise hotel towers have 245 keys, including luxury suites, large meeting rooms, an event center, a complete fitness center with heated outdoor pool, RV Park and Truck/Travel Plaza.
This unique site presented an enormous budgetary challenge: A steep hillside of nearly solid rock, it required extensive blasting, excavation and costly removal. Instead of hauling excavated rock, we brought an industrial crusher to the site and generated more than 45,000 tons of crushed rock which was used in the project construction. With the money saved, we planted 1,200 new trees and over 11,000 native shrubs, restoring the site to a natural woodland setting.
