Description: Guests arriving at this unique property are immediately captivated by the natural theme of the building. The visually dynamic main entrance features a spectacular waterfall and a porte cochere supported by rock structures similar to those that made the Wisconsin Dells famous. The use of natural materials integrates architecture with the colors and patterns of the Ho-Chunk people’s heritage.
Upon entering, guests encounter a soaring, 45 foot interior atrium, serving as a hub of the property, providing access to the convention center, hotel and the casino. The atrium features rock formations, waterfalls, a three-story rock ‘sculpture’ cradling the escalators, live pine trees and native wildlife. A sky-painted ceiling come caps the atrium experience, and a 100-foot long wildlife mural on the 2nd level captures elements of the of the tribe’s heritage.
This tribal theme continues inside the 315-key resort hotel. Here, native stone recalls the natural character of the Dells, corridor wall coverings are embossed with the tribal seal, and traditional birch canoes become translucent lighting fixtures when suspended over the hotel’s registration desk.
